The management and staff of KNEB held a team building exercise on 4th January at the Morendat Conference Centre in Naivasha.
Under the themes; inspiration, Interventions, Network, Support, Productivity and Results, the team building focused on various simulations with the aim of teaching KNEB staff a number of lessons that could apply at work to increase their productivity.
Activities during the three day exercise included the spur activity which focused on team work and attitude, 15 pieces treasure hunt emphasizing strategic thinking, cook out focused on time management, accountability and teamwork ,tag of war that addressed team performance in order deliver through working together as one among others.
Chief Executive Officer Eng. Collins Juma emphasized the need for synergy and improved performance through working as a team in order to deliver on the organization mandate of introducing nuclear electricity generation in the country. ‘This is the first of many more to come, let us enjoy and learn from others as we work towards delivering on our mandate with gusto’ said Eng. Juma.
The team building is important to KNEB in building a stronger team as the organization is strategizing for the year and moving closer to the 2027 target of commissioning the first 1000MW nuclear power plant in Kenya.
